Fence Posts

Our timber posts are pressure treated and rough sawn fencing grade timber, suitable for all outside projects. To help prevent warping and movement it is important that you choose the right size timber for your project and use the correct spacing and fixings. However, wood is a natural product and is subject to continual movement when exposed to atmospheric conditions. This may become evident with splits or warping, this is not considered a defect or fault, but is purely cosmetic and does not affect its strength or suitability for its purpose. We have a vast range of sizes starting at 6’ in length and going up to 3.6m in length. Offering timber from 2” x 2” to 8” x 8” and everything in between. We offer a mortising service for your close board projects, we just need a sketch of the measurements you require. We also offer a shaping service for the top of the posts including round, pointed and weathered tops. We also have various shaped post caps if you want to add some interest to your post tops.
