I am so impressed with G J Meaker Fencing. From the very outset, booking in a time with Lisa for Garry to visit to have a look for their quote, to hammering in the last nail in the fence, they have been nothing but outstanding. Pete, Sam & Jo had a really tough job clearing out a huge long hedge and reducing the stumps on my half of the boundary, while keeping the neighbours shrubs, before even getting started on the fence which is a nothing less than a work of art. It’s absolutely millimetre straight and runs level with a gentle gradient following the slope of the ground. Unbelievable what they have achieved in a just a few days. Honestly if you’re reading this wondering whether to call them - you really should, I can’t recommend them enough and just hope in time they might come back to do the other side! Thank you so much. Removal / Replacement of old side gate and small fence, 2x 6ft trellis, two ‘drop in’ fence panels and 7’ x 5’ shed, with a new concrete base for the latter. Gary worked alone and completed these tasks within two days. All components used were of good quality - particularly the shed when compared with its predecessor when new, and the new gate and its fittings - with their installation solid and robust. Amazing new fence I am over moon with the new fencing that was put up by G J Meaker. I was in hospital and my daughter spoke to them to ask if they would go ahead with work but explained payment would be slightly delayed due to me being taken ill. They were very proffessional and they even cleared all of the rubbish that wasn't created by them. They would be first on my list to use again and would highly recommend them. Thank you for helping an old lady in distress.

Garden fencingRarely does a company make things so easy in the construction business. From initial sales enquiry through to quote and booking of the work, Meaker Fencing were friendly, efficient and turned up on time and on the day promised for the quote.
On the day of the task, they turned up just before 08:00am and got to work with no delay. The guys were friendly and ensured any queries were answered promptly and professionally, with the work carried out to a high standard and in the manner expected. By late afternoon they were complete and left the garden looking neat and tidy, with all rubbish cleared away.
I would recommend them to anyone wanting a good quality fencing job to be carried out with the minimum of fuss and to a high standard.

Close Board Fencing PanelsA difficult job carried out without fuss, having to remove existing concrete posts establish a straight boundary re concrete new posts in position. Fit concrete gravel boards and fence panels, a job well done. all old fencing and posts removed and garden left in a tidy and clean condition. (Supply and install)

A Challenging JobWe had a very challenging job, with a long old fence that had been neglected. We invited Meaker to quote, along with two others. The job was very awkward and would be challenging for any company. Garry Meaker was the only person who took detailed measurements, and discussed specifics of the design and materials to be used. Their quote came in quite promptly and spelled out in detail what they would do and the materials to be used, again the only company to provide this level of comfort. They turned up on time and worked tirelessly for the next 5-6 days to get the job done. The quality of the workmanship is first class and the attention to detail is far greater than we expected. Rear Fence & gate (may2013)10 out of 10 - fantastic experience from start to finish. High standard of work carried out, excellent communication. Staff arrived fully equipped, and worked non stop even through torrential rain. Fence & GateHad Gary build a 40 metre stretch of fencing, and install a gate at the rear of the garden. We where quoted a fair price and the guys turned up on time and fully equipped for the job. Their work was excellent, and they tidied up and ensured no inconvenience was experienced by my wife and 2 unruly dogs. Workmanship was first class and the quality of materials was also first class. Communication via Lisa at the office was always polite, friendly and professional. Could not be happier (unless he had done it for free!!). Will use again and would highly recommend. Response to my request for an estimate was within 48 hrs, and 10 days later... job done... on time,on budget and all clean and tidy. Fencing, Decking & Shed repairs Garry replaced my fence panels, installed a large area of decking and partly rebuilt my garden shed brick walls and replaced the roof and the door & window frames. There were some tricky areas to deal with but Garry worked methodically to overcome the problems and did a superb job all round and on time. Thoroughly recommended.
