Shop/ Yard Assistant
We have a full time vacancy in our Lancing store which involves selling Fencing supplies to our trade customers and the public, good numerical and some computer skills are required. Good communication skills are required when dealing with customer enquiries over the phone, by email and in person. Some knowledge of the fencing, DIY and construction business would be helpful but not essential and a willingness to learn. The role also involves using a forklift truck on occasion, delivering and moving stock in a van so a clean (insurance purposes) driving licence is essential. Heavy lifting is regularly part of the daily routine. Hours are Monday - Friday 7.45am - 4pm and alternate Saturday mornings, hourly rate will be discussed at interview stage and depend on experience.

Fencing Labourer
We have a vacancy for a Fencing Labourer, labouring experience is preferred but not essential. The role includes loading and unloading vehicles of heavy Fencing materials, digging, mixing, preparing materials, tidying up and supporting our Fixers. A driving license and own transport is preferred but not essential. The hours are Monday- Friday 7.30am start in Hove, due to the nature of our work and needing to keep our customers homes secure the intended finishing time is 5.30pm but this isn’t always possible. The hourly rate will be discussed at interview stage and will depend on experience and age.
