Fencing panels are a convenient and attractive option, providing security and screening. Fixed with either timber or slotted concrete posts and a gravel board beneath they can offer a secure and attractive boundary for many years. Panels are easy to replace if one gets damaged without disturbing the rest of the fence or having to call in the professionals. An ideal DIY option, with plenty of attractive styles to choose from we are happy to advise and assist in your selection of the correct materials for the job.
All our British panels are approximately 6’ (183cms)wide and most range from 2' high to 6’ high. Our British styles are available in bespoke sizes, so the perfect option for front and rear gardens. Constructed with pressure treated timber from sustainably managed forests and manufactured in England. All our British panels are constructed from sawn fencing grade timber which doesn’t have the smooth finish of a Euro panel. However they can still be painted if you choose, it is worth remembering that once painted they will need an annual or bi- annual repeat coat. We have various treatments available for this purpose in a variety of colours.
Our Euro panel range has a standard width of 180cms, approx. 3cms less than a British panel. When replacing a British panel with a Euro panel the gap will need packing out, we have extension kits for this purpose. Constructed with high quality pressure treated timber from Sustainably managed forests our Euro panels come in many different styles. Finished in a smooth and prepared timber our Euro panels are ideal to paint in a colour of your choice, when left in their natural finish they will fade to lighter colour in time. It is worth remembering that once painted they will need an annual or bi- annual repeat coat. We have various treatments available for this purpose in a variety of colours.
Our pressure treated timber is preserved with the highest quality preservative, applied under pressure and forced in to the wood. The treatment is designed to enhance the product and extend the life of the timber, further treatment is recommended in time if necessary. Timber is a natural product and it will be subject to natural movement and weathering as it seasons. It is not uncommon for splits to occur during the drying out process and for warping and movement to occur when timber dries too rapidly. These will normally go back when moisture levels return, this is nature at work and is not considered a fault.
